Born in Borgosesia (VC) on 17th December 1985 Education 2010 – Ph.D. Student in Water and Territory Management at Polytechnic of Turin. Advisors Prof. Luca Ridolfi and PhD. Carlo Camporeale. 2009 – Master degree cum laude in Civil Engineering at the Politecnico di Torino. Thesis: “Estimating equivalent permeability of fractured rock masses using geometric parameters”, in collaboration with the Royal Institute of Technology of Stockholm. 2007 – Bachelor Degree cum laude in Civil Engineering at the Politecnico di Torino. Thesis: “Snow avalanches protection structures”. Research interests Theoretical morphodynamics Transitory evolution of morphodynamic patterns Mechanistic modelling of sediment transport phenomena Vegetation influence in the meandering processes Experimental morphodynamics Transitory evolution of morphodynamic patterns Physical modelling of baiding river Effect of vegetation and flood in the equilibrium of an erodible channel bottom Fluid mechanics Free surface flow over curved surfaces |
