Post-doc, Politecnico di Torino, Department of Environment, Land and Infrastructure Engineering (DIATI).

  • Born in 1986 In Varallo Sesia, Piemonte, Italy.
  • 2005/2008 - Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering at Politecnico di Milano with evaluation of 97/110. Thesis title: Parametrization of an high-performance hydraulic press cylinder.
  • 2009 - Six months of Erasmus exchange program at Institut Français de Mécanique Avancée (Institute of Advanced Mechanics), Clermont-Ferrand, France
  • July 2011 - Attended the conference "Cardiovascular Fluid Mechanics from theoretical aspects to diagnostic and therapeutic support" organized by the European Mechanics Society in Cagliari (Italy), where he has presented a part of his master thesis research project entitled  "Aging and Hypertension effects on the Aortic Stiffness".
  • 2008/2011 - Master's degree in mechanical engineering at Politecnico di Torino with evaluation of 110/110. Thesis title: On the propagation of pressure and velocity waves through the arterial system.
  • January 2012/March 2015 - Ph.D. program at Department of Environment, Land and Infrastructure Engineering (DIATI), Politecnico di Torino, supervised by Carlo Camporeale

 

  • April 2015 - present - Post-doc position. Department of Environment, Land and Infrastructure Engineering (DIATI), Politecnico di Torino


Research interests:

Emodynamics, Biomechanics of cardiovascular tissues, Hypertension, Cardiovascular ageing, Lifestyle-induced cardiovascular diseases.
